Country Choice makes sweet & savoury additions to Christmas range

Specialist convenience supplier, Country Choice is a supplier of in-store bakery and retail foodservice products. The two new sweet treats include:

• The Salted Caramel Cupcake combines a caramel-flavoured sponge with a swirl of salted caramel icing, finished with a sugar crunch and chocolate star
• The Boston’s Chocolate Orange Doughnut pairs rich chocolate icing with an orange flavour, topped with a chocolate orange segment

The new sweet additions join a line-up of returning festive favourites that includes a Christmas Snowman Cupcake, Iced Ginger Sponge, Gingerbread Reindeer, Chocolate Yule Cake as well as the ever-popular Mince Pies, which available in three sizes.

On the savoury side, the range is expanding with four newcomers, including:

• The Jerk Turkey Bake brings a Caribbean twist to the season
• The Festive Bake offers a comforting combination of chicken, sage and onion stuffing, and cranberries in a creamy sauce, all encased in puff pastry.
• The Festive Sausage Roll delivers seasoned pork, turkey, smoked pancetta, and cranberries with sage and onion stuffing.
• The Caramelised Onion & Camembert Tart features caramelised red onion chutney topped with creamy Camembert sauce and a sprinkle of parsley on a puff pastry base

These new products complement established favourites such as the Pigs Under Blankets Toastie, Brie & Cranberry Ciabatta, Steak & Cheese Bar, and Brie & Port Cranberry Turnover, ensuring that convenience retailers have a wide variety of options for consumers this Christmas.
