Quorn says it is making it easier than ever for school caterers to provide great quality, delicious food, that’s simple to prepare. You can see them in the Monarch Foyer.

Phil Thornborrow, foodservice director at Quorn, says: “At Quorn, we believe that what we eat now can create a better future. That’s why we’re helping everyone change their diets for their future health and the future of our planet.

“Quorn is ideally placed to help school caterers create on trend dishes that pupils will love, but that also meet a wide range of compliance criteria to help make menu planning simpler.

“And developed specifically for secondary schools, Quorn’s Green StrEAT Kitchen concept is inspired by high street favourites that pupils love. The brand has also launched the Conscious Cantina concept for specifically designed for secondary schools and universities.”

Rob Chambers, executive chef at Hampton College, was crowned the winner of LACA’s School Chef of the Year competition in 2021, sponsored by Quorn. He used Quorn mince in his winning dish of aromatic steamed bao bun, sriracha glazed Chinese cabbage and Asian salad with a soy and chilli dressing.
