Yazoo launches new carton format for foodservice

Flavoured milk brand, Yazoo, has launched a new 100% recyclable carton format for its No Added Sugar/No Artificial Sweetener product.

Targeted at education, casual dining and food to go channels, the move to this new carton pack will save 88% plastic (versus the current NAS plastic bottle) and is 100% recyclable.

The 200ml carton will be available in Flavoured Milk Category’s two flavours:  strawberry and chocolate.

Chris Gardiner, customer development manager at Friesland Campina UK said: “With childhood obesity concerns continuing to be high on the agenda, there’s never been a more timely occasion to bring this unique No Added Sugar product to the sector. Plus, parents have told us how hard it can be to find a healthy drink option that kids want to drink out of home.
