Abstract
Anaphylaxis UK and Allergy UK have announced plans to come together as one organisation, with a formal merger planned for 1st October.
This decision has been considered and is built on more than 30 years of working closely together, including the recent partnership through the National Allergy Strategy (NAS). It reflects a shared commitment to one thing above all: improving the lives of people living with allergy and anaphylaxis.
Simone Miles, chief executive, said: “We know that living with allergy can be challenging, often affecting everyday decisions, confidence, and a sense of safety. By bringing our organisations together, we aim to strengthen the support, information, and advocacy available to you and your family.”
The one organisation will:
- Provide clearer, more joined-up support and information
- Raise awareness and understanding of allergy
- Influence change in healthcare, policy, and public safety
- Ensure your voice is heard more powerfully
