Helen Milligan-Smith, managing director of Aramark UK, released a statement saying it was a ‘great privilege’ that more than 100 Aramark UK and Aramark Defence Services employees served in support of the funeral arrangements for HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
In partnership with DIO and the Ministry of Defence, Aramark created and delivered more than 8,000 meals, serving over 700 military personnel during the week of preparation and ceremony delivered at Windsor Castle.
Milligan-Smith commented: “On behalf of the entire UK operations and support teams, I would like to commend the effort and professionalism of all of our teams, along with acknowledging the dignity, duty, and resilience of Her Majesty the Queen and the entire Royal Family during this time.
“We will continue to serve and support our partners in the DIO, and across the British Armed Forces, with pride.”
