BaxterStorey achieves Gold Standard Accreditation for learning excellence
Abstract
Hospitality business BaxterStorey has achieved the Gold Standard Accreditation from the Learning Performance Institute (LPI), recognising excellence in workplace learning strategy, delivery and impact.

The accreditation follows assessment across six modules, measuring areas such as strategic alignment, learner experience and business impact. While gold status is usually awarded in the second year, BaxterStorey met the benchmark in its first assessment cycle.

This year BaxterStorey reported strong people development metrics, with in-person workshops increasing by 110% up from 56 in 2024 to 118 in 2025. These learning investments support the company’s continued growth, with 10,000 employees across 1,000 locations.

Hannah Carter, head of learning and development at BaxterStorey said: “This accreditation reflects our commitment to helping our people grow and thrive. We’re proud to take a progressive approach to learning -one that encourages getting curious, building new skills and growing confidence.

“I’m very proud of our Learning & Development team, who continue to shape impactful learning journeys that enable everyone to grow, develop, and achieve their potential.”
