AiP recently won the contract, worth in the region of half a million pounds, to supply meals to five schools in the city, collectively know as the ‘Bristol Cluster’.
The company has rolled out its primary school ‘Food Smart’ branding which it says is specifically tailored to the needs of each school.
Schools covered by the contract are Colston Primary School, Christchurch C of E, Stoke Bishop C of E Primary School, Westbury on Trym Primary School and Bristol Hotwells Primary.

“Mobilisation of all the schools on the first week back after October half term was superbly co-ordinated with the AIP team in the region, headed by Jenny Roberts, business director and the newly appointed dedicated manager for the cluster, Teresa Fenwick.
“Teresa has played a vital role throughout the mobilisation process ensuring that the schools were up and running smoothly with minimum interruption to the school day”.
The ‘Bristol Cluster’ contract previously belonged to Eden Foodservice.
Aip was established in 1998 and serves 75,000 meals per day in 300 colleges, according to its website.
