Calling all chefs for Pritchitts' regional challenge

22nd Apr 2010 - 00:00
Abstract
Dairy manufacturer Pritchitts has launched a competition that calls for chefs nationwide to submit their finest regional recipes using any of the company's products in a bid to win a range of prizes.
Pritchitts, a long standing business partner of the Guild and patron of the Craft Guild of Chefs' Culinary Academy, will award the 12 chefs that offer the best regional recipes a year's membership of the Craft Guild of Chefs and a Global chef's knife worth £120, plus feature their recipe in the Pritchitts Craft Guild of Chefs 2011 calendar. However the overall Regional Recipe Champion will win a once in a lifetime experience – dinner for two in The Dorchester Hotel's exclusive Krug Room, personally prepared by executive chef Henry Brosi, who will be on hand to discuss the philosophy and preparation of the meal. The recently redesigned Krug Room, located in the hotel's master kitchens, is the original 'chef's table' that first opened in the 1940s. To enter the competition, chefs need simply to submit their best regional recipe online at www.regional-recipes.co.uk no later than July 31 2010.
