This knowledgeable team of six won the Sheila Mitchell Quiz Trophy and a bottle of Champagne each. Over 180 people, spanning 28 teams, from the catering and hospitality industry took part in the quiz which included subjects with an English theme to mark St George’s Day.
Finishing in second place was Green & Fortune and in third place was Restaurant Associates. The raffle held for The PM Trust raised £2,000. The event was sponsored by Appetite4Work, which provides people to fill hospitality, catering and event roles across London and the home counties.
ACE chair Sarah Prentice said: “The annual ACE Quiz Night is the perfect opportunity to bring people together from across the hospitality industry. So much pre-planning and organising goes into this event from our ACE council, but we all enjoy getting together, meeting up with old friends and making new connections. The competitive element always adds an extra level of fun.”
The next ACE event will be the Summer Party on Tuesday 16th July which will take place at The British Library, London and will include the ACE Robyns Awards Presentation sponsored by Troika.
