Starting at Stotts of Oldham as an order clerk, his career took him from Stotts to Crypto Peerless and then to his own business and ultimately to Ceda in 2005 as their first managing director.
Reflecting on his time in the industry, Kay said: “I have seen lots of changes in our industry during my time, but the one thing that has not changed is the fact that the people are all very friendly. The single biggest change is the level of knowledge and professionalism within distributors.”
