22nd Apr 2010 - 00:00
Abstract
Chefs Unite has announced to plans to raise money for UK charity, Children with Leukaemia, through a raffle which has seen prizes donated by some top chefs.
The Chefs Unite raffle is open from 26th May until the beginning of July. Among the prizes on offer are a cookery lesson with Antony Worrall Thompson in the comfort of your own kitchen and an Italian masterclass with Antonio Carluccio at his London home. Tickets are just £10 and are available www.chefsunite.co.uk. Antony Worrall Thompson highlighted the importance of the raffle: "I'm delighted to support such a worthy cause. Simply put, the more people that buy raffle tickets, the more the charity can invest in saving children's lives. What's more, if you're a lucky winner, you might find me in your kitchen one day soon!" Children with leukaemia is the UK's leading charity dedicated to fighting Britain's biggest childhood cancer. The charity funds research into the causes, treatment and prevention of childhood leukaemia and provides welfare and support for children and their families.
