Abstract
A Passion to Inspire and chef Adam Smith hosted an Upskill Day at Coworth Park that aimed to ‘inspire’ young chefs who attend catering college.
Ten colleges were selected in a blind draw resulting in 40 students and 15 lecturers attending the event. Smith said: “What an amazing day meeting these young people – and a massive thank you to all these inspiring lecturers going that extra mile to make the day happen for them here at Coworth Park and those watching online.”
The team at Coworth Park helped set up a zoom session that was shared with over 260 students watching online from another 30 colleges.
Ethan McKenna, a level 3 student added: “Today was pure inspiration for me and I’ve never been more excited to be a part of such and exclusive event. I am so privileged to experience such high quality food and hospitality and I hope to be visiting again soon on work experience!”
