Abstract
Chiltern Foods, manufacturer of fresh produce, has launched the £1 million evolution of its production facility in Aylesbury.

The site, which officially opened on 14 December, will see Chiltern Foods answer the growth in demand for its products.

Christoph Haschka, CEO, The Food Solutions Group, said; “We’re excited to have the opportunity to take on a new site and grow both our workforce and business. Aylesbury has been a fantastic location for us for decades now. Being so central, it enables great connections with customers, and means we can deliver the freshest products each day – something vital for all of our products.”

Nearly £1 million has been invested into the new site, ‘guaranteeing’ it houses the ‘finest equipment and expanding the size to 20,000 square foot.

This will enable the workforce the change to continue to deliver the great tasting products that both major retail and foodservice outlets across the UK have come to expect from the Chiltern Foods brand.

David Lidington, Aylesbury MP, opened the new site and said: “Chiltern Foods has a long history in Aylesbury, and I am pleased to have been asked to open their new production facility today.

Aylesbury’s central location makes us an ideal choice for business. So, I am delighted that Chiltern Foods has decided to continue to invest in its future with us and I particularly welcome the news about local jobs. This is good news for Aylesbury and I wish them every success for the future.”
