6th Nov 2009 - 00:00
Abstract
The Avenance City & Corporate division of national contract caterer Elior has gained the Institute of Hospitality (IoH) Hospitality Assured accreditation for outstanding customer service and business excellence for the second consecutive year.
Hospitality Assured sees businesses put through a rigorous accreditation process that examines 10 key measurable steps, from business planning and strategy, to training and development of employees, through to delivery of service. Comments of praise in the IoH report included: "There was evidence of strong and harmonious working relationships between catering managers and their clients." Chris Sprague, managing director, Avenance City & Corporate said: "We found the recognition of our positive client relationships most gratifying and we were thrilled that the Hospitality Assured assessors noted our new customer survey as a "particular improvement" in the last 12 months. "Now, we are generating valuable feedback from the people who eat in our restaurants and using it effectively to refine our product and service, and keep customers coming back for more."
