Abstract
The Clink Events, the external catering service run by ‘innovative’ prisoner training scheme The Clink Charity, will be partnering with Royal Museums Greenwich as one of the eligible caterers for 2022.

Royal Museums Greenwich comprises Cutty Sark, the National Maritime Museum, the Queen’s House, Royal Observatory Greenwich and the Peter Harrison Planetarium.

Jonny Whitfield, The Clink Events managing director, said: “This is a fantastic, world renowned collection of museums and event spaces which we’re honoured to be working with in 2022. This gives a fantastic opportunity for us to train more prisoners and vulnerable disadvantaged adults to work on our events. We look forward to starting our partnership with Royal Museums Greenwich.”

The Clink Charity shows what can be achieved when society collectively engages to give second chances in life to those who ‘want, need and deserve them’. One hundred percent of the profits made from The Clink Events catering at Royal Museum Greenwich will be used to fund The Clink Charity’s training projects.

Claire Bastin from Royal Museums Greenwich, added: “Royal Museums of Greenwich are delighted to partner with Clink Events as their vision and goals fit perfectly with our own diversity and inclusion objectives.

“Their seasonal and sustainable approach to creating exciting menus alongside delivering exceptional service is extremely impressive and we look forward to working with them to create memorable experiences for our clients.”
