The UK Young Seafood Chef of the Year grand final kicks off at the Grimsby Institute tomorrow – Friday, May 11 – and all the action will be streamed live over the internet from the college’s kitchens.
There will be around 13 links to different cameras to show live footage of the competition. This will include a camera in each station and one in the dining area for the sponsors and guests. Teams competing for the coveted title, £500 for each chef and £1,000 of Russums vouchers for their college are: • Blackpool and The Fylde College • City College Norwich • Hopwood Hall College • Exeter College
 • Oxford & Cherwell College (Oxford Campus) • South Downs College • University College Birmingham
 • Yorkshire Coast College
Each team of two student chefs will have to prepare, cook and present dishes that include specific fish and seafood in their courses to invited guests and some of the industry's top professionals and judging panel – celebrity chefs Mitch Tonks and Franck Pontais; Chris Leftwich, managing director of Billingsgate Fish Marke; and Serge Nollent, head chef at Young's. • All the online action can be seen by visiting www.ukseafood.co.uk and clicking on live feeds.
