DBC Foodservice appoints director of independent and new business sales

Abstract
DBC Foodservice has appointed Jo Elder as director of independent and new business sales.
Elder is now responsible for growing DBC's independent sector, and will also leverage new business opportunities with her 20 years' experience in the catering industry. She will report to Tony Rowlands, DBC's recently appointed new sales director, and will look after national teams of regional and territory sales managers. Most recently Elder was sales director at Loxtonfoodco which she joined after 10 years at Greencore, firstly as a national account manager and then as sales director for foodservice. Prior to this she worked as a national account manager for an equipment and events company. Chris Horne, managing director of DBC Foodservice, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Jo to DBC at such an exciting time for the business. We are confident that Jo will help to grow and develop our independent and new business sales, and look forward to seeing the financial return that this brings." Jo Elder commented on her new appointment: "I am delighted to join DBC and cannot wait to use my considerable experience of the industry to develop our important independent sector."
