This year's conference will focus on Business Agility and how businesses within the foodservice sector are dealing with the rising cost pressures and using the latest technology to adapt and thrive.
The FEA is assembling a speaker programme featuring industry leaders, tech pioneers and creative visionaries to provide high level insights into the issues.
The keynote speaker at the conference will be Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards. He will share his journey with characteristic charm and humour. Eddie will also talk about his willingness to take risks, the importance of pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone and allowing yourself to fail but also to get back up and try again.
The FEA says one name sure to excite delegates is Google’s James Shaw, who is the company’s global programs design lead. He’ll explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is being used to optimise kitchen efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance user experience through automation and predictive analytics.
Other speakers include: Rational AG’s chief executive Dr. Peter Stadelmann; Parts Town’s Emanuela Delgado, GVP of growth and innovation and Matt Cundrick from MKMC Food Business Support and the founder of FTG Navigator, a consultancy reshaping the future of food-to-go.
Kelly Barrell, chair of FEA’s revenue and marketing committee which plans the conference, said: “The team are creating a powerhouse speaker platform. From AI integration and sustainability to cutting-edge design and operational excellence, every session is curated to keep delegates ahead of the curve. Meanwhile we hope the first-timer tickets will attract young professionals wanting to find out about the industry, FEA and the NextGen council.”
FEA members booking the early bird package will get access to two nights’ accommodation, access to the Wednesday night networking drinks, a place at the Opening Dinner & Charitable Endeavour Awards, a day delegate pass to the conference and a place at the Gala Dinner & Awards.
The FEA is offering a variety of ticket options, from conference-day-only to the full two-day package. Two-day early bird packages for FEA members start at £749, whist non-member two-night packages start at £1,042. For tickets for the FEA 2025 Industry Conference click here.
