The ‘Unleash Your Imagination’ competition is centred around Angel Delight and McDougalls Jelly, two of Premier Foods’ most iconic dessert brands.
Her dessert titled ‘Books, the Mind’s Food’ was voted the favourite dish of this year’s show.
During his visit, he was able to see the campaign in action by joining in with the vegetable-themed activities designed to ‘inspire’ pupils to eat more vegetables.
Cashless catering was a new concept at the time, with most school transactions being cash-based.
The Soil Association Scotland says the changes have been developed with caterers, to reflect the environment in which you work, so the sector can contribute to making Scotland a Good Food Nation.
