Great British Entrepreneur Awards names Olive Dining CEO as finalist
Abstract
Stephanie Spratt, chief executive of education catering specialist Olive Dining, has been shortlisted for the Family Business Entrepreneur of the Year accolade at this year’s Great British Entrepreneur Awards (GBEA) for the South East region.

Founded by Stephanie and long-term colleague Chris Whitter 15 years ago, Olive Dining provides ‘innovative’ and solution-led bespoke catering services to primary and secondary schools in and around the London area.

Olive Dining aims to provide children with access to homemade and nutritious meals – particularly in deprived areas across the South East.

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards, also known as ‘The Grammys of Entrepreneurship’ celebrate inspiring business stories across the UK. Now in its 13th year, the 2025 shortlist includes over 800 entrepreneurs from every nation and region of the UK, all recognised for their innovation, impact and resilience.

Commenting on the nomination, Spratt said: “Olive Dining was founded after identifying a gap in the market for a catering service with an individual, flexible and proactive approach. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive experience and are dedicated to supporting all students and members of the school community through quality, freshly prepared and nutritious meals.

“Not only is it an honour to be named a finalist at the GBEA, but to be recognised for our family values is a huge testament to our hard work over the last 15 years. We couldn’t be happier to be shortlisted alongside some of the UK’s most exciting and ambitious businesses, and we wish everyone the best of luck for the ceremony later this year.”

All winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Monday 17th November at London’s Grosvenor House, where over 1,500 entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders will come together to celebrate entrepreneurial success.
