Abstract
The Exercise Joint Caterer, the flagship competition for Armed Forces chefs and catering teams, will take place during the Public Sector Catering Expo on 15-16 March 2022.

The competition showcases the skills of chefs at the highest level, demonstrating the role military caterers play in the delivery of an effective armed force. Attracting hundreds of chefs from across the forces, EJC is renowned across the industry and it generates a ‘vibrant and exciting energy’ that will ‘inspire’ visitors and exhibitors alike.

Alongside the EJC, The Public Sector Catering Expo brings together chefs and caterers from across all areas of the public sector including schools, universities, hospitals, care homes, prisons, the Armed Forces and catering colleges.

Following the success of the inaugural Expo in Telford, the event has moved to the bigger NEC venue for 2022, with a two-day programme of speakers, cooking demonstrations, networking and an exhibition of more than 100 foodservice suppliers.

The Expo includes a central exhibition area where you can meet with the key associations representing the public sector catering industry.

The Expo is run with the support of a number of national catering organisations, including ASSIST FM, the Hospital Caterers Association (HCA), LACA, the National Association of Care Catering (NACC), the Professional Association of Catering in Education (PACE), The University Caterers Organisation (TUCO) and the PSC100 group.
