Abstract
Independent hospitality company Green & Fortune has been appointed as the exclusive catering and hospitality partner for London Museum, the capital’s major new cultural landmark, opening towards the end of 2026.

Following a competitive tender process, Green & Fortune has been awarded a ten-year contract to lead hospitality across the museum’s new home in Smithfield. Green & Fortune will develop and operate four innovative food and beverage outlets with a focus on locally sourced food.

Green & Fortune will also lead catering for the museum’s venue hire events. Spanning 150,000 square foot, it will have the capacity to host both intimate and large-scale private events, including gala dinners, drinks receptions, product launches and high-profile celebrations.

John Nugent, founder and chief executive of Green & Fortune, said: “The ambitions and scale that the London Museum project brings, are rare to find. The opportunity to deliver a raft of new styles of service that represents the city, past and present, is incredible.

“As a deep-rooted London business, all at Green & Fortune are looking to shift the dial in what museums and galleries offer to their visitors, as well as to the wider eating and drinking community across the capital and beyond. We will deliver all of this with care and understanding, showcasing all that sets this great city apart.”
