HCA National Awards 2018 open for entry

The Hospital Caterers Association (HCA) is now accepting entries for its annual awards, which take place on 12 April 2018 at Celtic Manor, Newport.

The president gala awards dinner will form part of HCA’s Leadership and Development Forum where the organisation will celebrate 70 years of existence.

The awards were established to recognise ‘outstanding commitment and dedication in healthcare catering and patient service’.

HCA chair Stewart McKenzie said: “The HCA National Awards is an opportunity for our members to receive recognition for their hard work and commitment. It is important that we show appreciation for hospital caterers as we continue to strive for a healthier nation.”

There will be two new awards on offer this year, the first, National – Nutrition & Hydration 24/7 365 Poster Award and the second, Practical Display – Promoting culinary talent 2018 Award.

The awards are free to enter. The nominee must be a full member of the HCA. Closing date for entries is 9 February.
