Abstract
The Institute of Hospitality (IoH) is set to launch its first ever industry podcast ‘I’m In’, which will be hosted by industry icon Phil Street MIH.

The new podcast will launch on international podcast day, 30 September 2021, with the following episodes released on the last Thursday of every month.

Street will be discussing a range of topics including mental health, global opportunities to work in hospitality and the state of the industry today.

Robert Richardson FIH, the IoH’s chief executive, said: “This is a ground-breaking initiative for the IoH. We want to ensure a lively and relevant debate at each of our monthly podcasts, so we will ensure one panellist will be chosen from each of the Institute’s three levels of membership, Associate (AIH), Member (MIH) and Fellow (FIH).

“They must work in a different hospitality sector than their fellow panellists and be at a different stage in their careers. The key will be to ensure we have a diverse representation of ages, roles and experience, and panellists who won’t be afraid to answer some tough questions and break some glass ceilings.”

The IoHs’ official podcast will be exclusively delivered to the members area of the IoH Website and by notification to the IoH Connect App each month. Two weeks after release ‘I’m In’ will be made available across all major podcast platforms worldwide.
