Abstract
ISS Facility Services Education has started to provide catering services to three PFI secondary schools in Hull.

The contract, which includes Andrew Marvell College (AMC), The Kingswood Academy, and Oakfield School, began on the 7 January, ready for the beginning of the new term.

ISS FS Education’s catering provision forms part of a partnership with Robertson FM, who oversee the facility management services for all three units.

Both AMC and The Kingswood Academy support around 1,300 students. The facilities at AMC include a main counter, deli bar and café bar. Breakfast, break and lunch meals are available – including a selection of main courses and ‘grab and go’ style choices.

The Kingswood Academy houses four student catering outlets, as well as a community café, each of which offers a different food style and environment.

Both Logic Bistro and Revelation ISS Facility Services Education has started to provide catering services to three PFI secondary schools in Hull.

Brasserie offer students a variety of dining options, as does The Glasshouse – a stylish restaurant which has been created with a view to seeing students cooking and serving with the help of the ISS FS Education kitchen team in the future. Rosie’s café completes the quartet; a sandwich and coffee shop, part of which is open to the local community.

Mark Davies, divisional director for ISS FS Education, said: “ISS FS Education is delighted to be working with Robertson FM to deliver catering services to all three of the Hull secondary schools.

"The buildings are incredibly impressive and it is our aim to provide a service which is equally as inspiring. Our team has made an excellent start and I am really proud of what has been achieved so far. We have every confidence for the future and will work closely with the schools to deliver their vision.”
