ISS plans lunch varieties for Heinz workers

15th Mar 2012 - 00:00
Abstract
ISS Food and Hospitality has won a £1.2 million, three-year staff catering contract at H J Heinz at its Hayes Park head office in Middlesex.
Heinz wants the contract to deliver a healthy range of food for staff at the new facility, which was launched earlier this year. Andy Chappell, managing director of ISS Facilities Services Food and Hospitality, said ISS had worked closely with Heinz to introduce an innovative new menu which incorporates the full range of Heinz products into healthy meal options. The new food choices would take into account recent innovations in GDA (Guideline Daily Amounts) analysis in a move which will help to maintain a healthy approach to staff wellbeing. He said: "It has been great working with the team at Heinz to create a new catering facility for their employees. "Their dedication to providing healthy options for their staff while incorporating their range of products has been a great challenge to take on and through applying our personalisation philosophy we think the results are very enjoyable. "With sales already growing to anticipated levels, and with numerous promotions planned for 2012, it should be an exciting year for the customers at Heinz." The site will introduce ISS's range of Split 'n Fill hand held snacks to increase service speed in the new facility, while a "real feeling of high street retail" will be delivered by a new branded Paddy and Scott's coffee bar.
