Levy MD to headline Arena’s ‘Creating a Sustainable Future’ event
Abstract
Jon Davies, managing director of Levy UK & Ireland, will be the keynote speaker at Arena’s ‘Creating a Sustainable Future’ event that is scheduled to take place on Monday 3rd June at Sofitel London St. James.

In his keynote address, Davies will explore how Levy UK & Ireland are making a difference to environmental, social and governance (ESG) in foodservice and hospitality as well as its supply chain.

Davies will showcase how they are implementing change and leading the way in sustainable ways of operating to build a better world. He will share how the business is collaborating with like-minded suppliers and partnering with clients to join Levy’s quest of minimising environmental footprint and having a positive social impact.

After his keynote address, Davies will be joined by fellow sustainability experts on a panel including Jon Dale corporate affairs and ESG lead at Punch Pub Group and Julie Owst head of sustainability at Bidfood.

The panel will be chaired by Mark Chapman, founder and chief executive of Zero Carbon Forum. They will discuss:

  • Leading the way in sustainable ways of operating within their respective businesses
  • Engaging their teams and customers and collaborating with their suppliers.
  • Dealing with the key challenges the supply chain is experiencing when it comes to sustainability;
  • Managing to keep sustainability on the agenda despite the pressure of inflation and the cost of living crisis;
  • Achieving transparent and credible progress and measuring their sustainability initiatives

As with all Arena events, there will be a drinks reception and three-course lunch with plenty of time to catch up with industry colleagues to build business relationships. Tickets are £165 + vat for Arena members and £265 + vat for non-members.
