Abstract
Love British Food is bringing together public sector caterers, foodservice leaders, farmers and industry partners at this year’s Royal Three Counties Show as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.

The event, taking place on Friday 12th June 2026, will immerse delegates in the heart of British farming and food. A programme has been coordinated to strengthen the links between the people producing food and those shaping menus across schools, hospitals, universities and hospitality.

A panel discussion titled ‘Who shapes Britain’s sustainable food future?’ will bring together leaders from farming, procurement, hospitality and catering. The panel will explore how farmers can help caterers deliver on sustainability, quality and resilience by making British produce their first choice. Panellists include:

  • Myton Food Group livestock technical manager Lily Spencer-Brown
  • Fresh Direct head of food development Ian Nottage
  • Angel Hill Food co operations manager Rob Cass
  • UK Hospitality executive director Wales David Chapman
  • National Beef Association chief executive Neil Shand
  • NFU vice-president Robyn Munt
  • Love British Food founder Alexia Robinson

Robinson said: “Over 25 years Love British Food has built a loyal community that connects farmers, caterers, suppliers and communities through one shared love of British food.

“This event is about bringing the people who develop menus and make buying decisions to experience the best of British farming at one of the country’s leading agricultural shows. We want caterers to see first-hand the quality, care and commitment behind British food production and leave empowered to choose British.

“The meals that matter most, often happen in the day-to-day communal places we share, from schools to care homes, which is why we have worked so closely with the public sector for 25 years. By strengthening relationships between grassroots and industry, we can help build demand for British food while making it easier for people to source, serve and celebrate British produce.”

Throughout 2026, Love British Food is bringing together farmers, retailers, caterers, schools, hospitality businesses and communities to champion British food, strengthen domestic supply chains and encourage organisations and consumers alike to ‘Choose British’. All activity builds towards this year’s British Food Fortnight, which runs from 26th September to 11th October 2026.
