Abstract
Mount Charles, Ireland’s leading independently-owned foodservice, cleaning, security and vending company has announced a two-year contract with Clare House, home to Northern Ireland’s Department of Finance.

The contract, worth £520,000, will see the outsourcing giant provide facilities management service to the premises on Airport Road, Belfast.

Trevor Annon, the Mount Charles chairman, said: “We are delighted to acquire the Department of Finance headquarters as the latest partner under our facilities management umbrella and look forward to providing Clare House with our signature professional service.

“This contract is another step on our ‘Road to £50m’ strategy which we have committed to achieve revenue of £50m by 2020. Our recent multi-million pound contract win with leading European airline Flybe, as well as the establishment of a franchise agreement with Ireland’s leading healthy fast food retailer Freshly Chopped, indicate that we are on course to exceed that target.”

Voted as the 2018 Deloitte Best Managed Company, Mount Charles recently announced success in the Republic of Ireland Market when they secured contracts with a combined €9 million (£8.1 million) with the Public Appointments Service, Ordinance Survey Ireland, the Abbey Theatre, the National Aquatic Centre and Custom House, home to the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government.
