Abstract
The Guardian’s public services editor, David Brindle will speak at this year’s NACC Training & Development Forum, which takes place from October 5th-7th at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.

The journalist, who specialises in social policy issues, will speak about his experiences of reporting on the public sector and consider why it remains marginalised.

Neel Radia, national chair of the NACC, said: “It’s really important that the forum offers delegates new perspectives and commentary, and David will certainly provide this. David is a highly respected journalist.

“His experience and knowledge of public services is wide reaching and he genuinely cares about making a positive difference within the sector. His insight and observations will be fascinating and will definitely give us all something to think about.”

The two-day event engages delegates through relevant speakers, training workshops, practical culinary demonstrations and a supplier exhibition, specifically designed to stimulate discussion and offer fresh approaches, skills and advice to enhance their catering provision.
