NACC chair attends royal reception at Windsor Castle recognising UK carers
Abstract
The National Association of Care Catering (NACC) chair Neel Radia says the organisation was ‘honoured’ to attend a reception hosted by Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle, alongside 300 invited guests from across the UK.

The reception was held to thank and recognise those who dedicate their lives to caring for others, celebrating the vital contribution of individuals and organisations working within the care sector.

Representing the NACC at the event were national chair Neel Radia, 2025 Care Chef of the Year winner Ilona Tomza, national secretary Judith Buttle and Lisa Turnbull of Grove Park Care Home, who was named as the winner of the NACC Care Establishment Award 2025.

Radia said: “The NACC is incredibly honoured to have been invited by Their Majesties the King and Queen to a reception at Windsor Castle, in recognition of carers and the vital role our members play within the care sector. This is a wonderful acknowledgement of all caterers working within the care sector and the person-centred nutritional care they provide to residents and service users every day.”

The NACC continues to champion excellence in care catering, promoting high standards in nutrition and hydration while recognising the essential role of food and dining in delivering person-centred care.
