Oak View Group International appoints director of sustainability
Abstract
Oak View Group (OVG) International, the parent company of luxury hospitality group Rhubarb Hospitality Collection (RHC), has appointed Clare Clark as director of sustainability.

Clark brings extensive experience in hospitality and sustainability. She most recently served as head of sustainability at CH&CO, where she was recognised as Planet Mark’s 2023 Sustainability Game Changer.

She has also held roles at the Soil Association, advising restaurants and caterers on sustainable best practice from farm to fork. Clark also sits on the Royal Academy of Culinary Art’s sustainability committee.

Commenting on her appointment, Clark said: "I’m thrilled to be joining OVG and Rhubarb. This role represents a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change at scale within hospitality and live events.

“With a deep understanding of sustainable food systems, operational efficiency and stakeholder engagement, I’m most looking forward to embedding sustainability into our operational culture, creating solutions that are environmentally responsible as well as commercially smart for our partners, whilst elevating the customer experience."

In her new role, Clark will develop and implement strategies to integrate sustainability across all aspects of OVG and RHC hospitality operations, with a particular focus on food and beverage accounts through Co-Op Live, Rhubarb and other OVG subsidiaries.

Her work will support OVG’s ambitious Future Positive Strategy, aiming to achieve net zero emissions, champion water stewardship, advance waste minimisation and strengthen community impact.
