Abstract
The plant-based eating movement has doubled in popularity year-on-year since 2014, according to research from Ubamarket.

Ubamarket research has found as many as one third of Brits say they are turning towards vegetarian and vegan diets.

During Veganuary thousands of people across the country are adopting vegetarian and vegan diets for the first month of 2020.

In last year’s campaign over 250,000 people took part in Veganuary and this trend is set to continue according to Ubamarket.

Will Broome, chief executive and founder of Ubamarket, said: “Movements like Veganuary have proven themselves in recent years in their ability to initiate real change and gain real popularity.”
