School caterers have been tasked with creating a ‘fun and adventurous’ dessert in a challenge set by award-winning school chef and competition judge Holly Charnock. Aria Care hospitality director James Clear is inviting care homes to engage their residents in a creative and interactive storytelling activity.
Both groups have until Friday 13th June to complete their entries. Two challenge packs, one for each competition, are available now to download. Each pack includes a competition briefing sheet and a range of Angel Delight and McDougalls Jelly recipes, plus expert advice and top tips from Holly and James.
To complete their entries, school caterers must:
- Download the education pack via the Premier Foods Foodservice website.
- Create one showstopping dessert featuring any McDougalls Jelly or Angel Delight product.
- Submit a clear photo of your dessert in both portrait and landscape, and the recipe to imagination@williammurray.co.uk.
To complete their entries, care home caterers must:
- Download the care home pack via the Premier Foods Foodservice website.
- Facilitate a storytelling session for residents to share their wonderful memories.
- Submit your chosen resident story to imagination@williammurray.co.uk.
One winning school and one winning care home will receive a special afternoon tea experience, hosted by Premier Foods Foodservice in July 2025, featuring a selection of savoury and sweet treats plus a range of different activities.
