Abstract
With just weeks to go until doors open to The Restaurant Show (29th April – 1st May) those planning a visit are being urged to register for their free badge ahead of three days of insight, advice and innovation.

On the Chef’s Stage, eight chefs will be hosting exclusive mentoring sessions, sharing their career trajectories, the challenges they’ve faced along the way and the essential tips and tricks that peers may benefit from.

Hear from Aktar Islam, chef patron of Opheem; Brad Carter, owner of Carters and One Star Doner Bar; Sabrina Gidda, chef, author & consultant and Luke Tipping, chef director, Simpsons Restaurant Edgbaston.

The Restaurant Stage plays host to other industry leading lights, with expert panels discussing the biggest trends and challenges currently faced by chefs.

Kate Nicholls OBE, chief executive of UKHospitality heads up a session on ‘Rising Costs’ (10.45am, Tuesday 30th April) or sit down with Stefan Chomka, editor of Restaurant magazine as he talks to chefs Jermaine Harriott, Patrick McNulty and Johnny Stanford in ‘On your radar: Chefs to watch in 2024’ (11.30am, Monday 29th April).
