Abstract
Hospitality industry charity, Springboard, is seeking entries for its annual Awards for Excellence.
There are 16 categories to enter and nominations are now being sought. Registration is simple all you have to do is complete the online entry form via the link below. Springboard said: "Incredibly, we're now in the 9th year of these prestigious awards which highlight the outstanding talent of people, organisations and initiatives in our sector. Those that have worked hard to elevate the profile of the employer, attract and retain talent, and have demonstrated best employment practices." The charity is expanding the scope of these awards and the full list of categories is: Promoting Careers The Springboard Ambassador's Award Best Regional Initiative The New Media Award The Education Pipeline Award Attracting & Developing People Best Student Placement Provider Best Recruitment Initiative The Young People Award The People Innovation Award Best Chefs Strategy Best Management Strategy Best Food & Beverage Strategy Best Employment Practice The Diversity in Employment Award Best Career Progression Award The Retention Award The Corporate Responsibility Award The Best Employer Award All you need to do is provide an 800 word statement outlining your initiative using the given criteria before the 8th September 2011. Please note that all entries need to be supported with relevant additional material to enhance your submission. Any entries not supported by additional evidence will be rejected. Due to high volume of entries Springboard can only print 20 pages per entry of any electronically supporting evidence.
