Tim Bender moves up to UK sales director role

In his new position, he will have responsibility for the UK warewashing field sales team comprising four regional managers, 19 sales executives and four technical sales executives and will report to David Riley, director – Warewash UK. "I am still very actively involved and interested in the exciting product developments we are working on. However, my primary objective will be to drive the success of Hobart warewashing sales and ensure our position as the UK's leading warewashing manufacturer and innovator is strengthened in the years to come." Bender was previously UK product development manager – Warewashing. He joined Hobart in 1988 as a technical sales executive progressing to regional sales manager in 1997 and was promoted to national warewashing manager in 2001. His role has expanded since then through active involvement in market research, product development with the German research & development operation and promotion of products as well as managing the technical team and taking responsibility for UK warewashing sales.
