Too Good To Go introduces platform to teach children about food waste
Abstract
Too Good To Go has started a new initiative in the UK aimed at getting children aged six to 11-years-old to learn about food waste, its relationship with climate change and how to avoid it in a fun and accessible way.

Too Good To Go Next Gen is a free and downloadable education programme designed to help mentors - whether parents, teachers, or caregivers - explore the topic of food waste with children through hands-on activities and games.

Sophie Trueman, country director of UK & Ireland at Too Good To Go, said: “With over 500 million meals already saved from going to waste globally and over 45 million in the UK alone, Too Good To Go believes that engaging the next generation is critical to building a more sustainable future. By inspiring and empowering the next generation to fight food waste together, we can expand our impact for both people and the planet.”

Too Good To Go is a certified B Corp social impact company that helps food distributors unlock value from surplus food and reduce food waste. Access the food waste resources here.
