TUCO appoints new non-executive director to its board
Abstract
TUCO, The University Caterers Organisation, has appointed a new non-executive director to its board reinforcing its commitment to continued growth, innovation and support for its public sector catering membership.

Emma Stansfield is head of residences catering & bars at the University of Manchester. She will join the TUCO board bringing her experience and passion for the student experience, sustainability and people development.

Amanda Pettingill, chair of TUCO, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Emma to the TUCO board. Her background, energy and commitment to excellence in university catering and bars make her an outstanding addition to our leadership team. Emma’s appointment strengthens the board’s collective expertise and reflects TUCO’s ongoing mission to support and inspire our members.”

A passionate advocate for innovation, Stansfield is driven by a desire to constantly challenge the norm in pursuit of excellence. Her focus areas include sustainability, customer satisfaction, team development and enriching the student journey.

Speaking of her appointment, Stansfield commented: “I have been a huge advocate of TUCO for many years and I am extremely proud to be joining the board of such a fabulous organisation. I am excited to be working alongside industry colleagues to ensure our members are supported and we all learn and grow together.”
