TUCO unveils shortlisted finalists for annual awards
Abstract
The University Caterers Organisation (TUCO) has unveiled the shortlisted finalists across five categories for their annual awards.

The winners will be revealed at the gala dinner in the culmination of the 2025 Summer Conference hosted at Loughborough University. In addition to the five categories listed below the winner of the Outstanding Achievement Award will be announced on the night.

The shortlisted finalists are:

Innovation Award:

  • Kings Food Root to Tip - King's College London
  • Team Loughborough - Loughborough University
  • Reboot Cafe  - Queen's University Belfast
  • The Pulse Cafe - University of Huddersfield
  • Hannah Whatley - University of Southampton

Rising Star Award:

  • Lauren Moore - Bangor University
  • Maddie Selley - King's College London
  • Hayley Hall - Loughborough University
  • Ollie Bierton - University of Sheffield
  • Lewis Huggins & Omi Joshi - University of Southampton

Sustainability Award:

  • Catering Team - Harper Adams University
  • Hospitality Team - Imperial College London
  • The Bee Cup Team - The University of Manchester
  • Source Catering - University of Bristol
  • UCSP - University of Plymouth

TUCO Member of the Year:

  • Edge Hill University
  • Loughborough University
  • University of Southampton

TUCO Team of the Year:

  • King's Food - King's College London
  • Team EHB - Loughborough University
