Abstract
Unilever Food Solutions is bringing back its Christmas gingerbread challenge to get care homes feeling festive.

To take part, care homes just need to submit photos of their team working with residents to build and decorate a gingerbread house and explain why they chose their particular theme.

James Allred, UFS channel marketing manager, said: "We want to help care homes bring the magic of Christmas to their residents – and what better way to do it than by bringing residents, carers and care home caterers together for the time-old Christmas tradition of baking a gingerbread house. To find out how you can get your residents involved, visit www.ufs.com/elderlycare.”

Last year’s winning entry, a gingerbread birdhouse, came from Admiral Court care home in Leigh-On-Sea, Essex.

Entries close on January 3rd 2017 and the overall winner will be announced on January 18th.
