Vacherin secures catering deals with Disney and the Design Council

2nd Dec 2009 - 00:00
Abstract
Hot on the heels of its contract win at EMI, London based caterer Vacherin has secured new high profile catering contracts with Disney, the Design Council and two further clients with a combined annual turnover of £2.5m.
Disney is a three year contract for 1800+ staff to run the Disney Cafe and hospitality services in Hammersmith and the Disney Cafe in Chiswick. Formerly with Restaurant Associates, Vacherin secured what will be their largest staff restaurant contract on the basis of its "zest for good food and bespoke hospitality". Anni Topping of Disney said: "We were impressed by Vacherin's personal, foodie approach that convinced us that their senior team will deliver their promises and drive innovation across our services." In the Design Council's Covent Garden HQ Vacherin has a three year contract to manage the café and event hospitality. "Our café needs to give our staff a real home-from-home feeling of friendly, personal service, while our events space has to be extremely flexible to deliver to a wide range of external clients, many of whom place a high priority not only on the quality of the food, but also the healthiness and sustainability. Vacherin have met these requirements admirably," revealed Nick Patrick from the Design Council. Vacherin have also landed in Canary Wharf for the first time, where they have a new contract looking after a suite of meeting, conference and training rooms as well as the staff café for their client's 450 staff. The fourth new client becomes the third in Vacherin's Victoria portfolio and will house up to 500 staff for whom we are managing a staff restaurant, all day café, meeting room hospitality, mail room and reception services.
