Abstract
Set to launch 1 September, Matthew Algie - sister brand to Espresso Warehouse - is preparing its 2017 winter range, which includes a number of new hot drinks, syrups, snacks and barista kit items.

Andrew Jack, marketing director at Matthew Algie said: “Winter is a key selling period for the coffee shop market and in order to stand out against the competition, it’s crucial that operators are armed with the tools and the inspiration that they need to attract and excite customers.

“Our winter Espresso Warehouse range is brimming with fantastic new products and recipe ideas that tap into key consumer trends, designed to help operators boost sales and improve margins.”

Supplying operators and distributers alike, the list below highlights a number of new items and brands featuring in the coffee roaster’s new line:

  • Hot chocolate brand, ‘Hasslacher’s’ 100% cacao buttons (designed to be melted to create hot chocolate) and organic panela – a sugar alternative with a hint of caramel.
  • Espresso Warehouse Bamboo drinks tray – to present drinks and serve panela and/or topping.
  • New coffee kit - to serve ‘Hasslacher’s’ hot chocolate, single-serve filter and other artisanal coffees.
  • ‘Da Vinci Syrup’ in toasted marshmallow, amaretto and mulled spice flavours.
  • A selection of ‘Suki’ loose leaf pyramid teas, in either single or mixed flavour supply, as well as new stump teapots.

Espresso Warehouse will also unveil six new winter recipes, including a salted caramel fudge latte and tiramisu mocha, all of which are designed to drive seasonal spend.
