Abstract
Operators will no longer have to ‘wing it’ with unreliable sources, thanks to the launch of Funnybones Foodservice’s New Rio Pacific Buffalo Wing Sauce.

Ideal for dipping, dunking, or glazing, the sauce can be served cold or hot- though Funnybones recommends hot for maximum flavour.

Tom Styman-Heighton, development chef at Funnybones, said: “Buffalo sauce is an absolute must-have when it comes to serving wings. We’ve spent a long time coming up with our own unique recipe to get it just right – balancing full bodied heat with a really smooth, moreish finish – and we’re delighted with the results. With many operators looking to simplify menus due to supply chain issues, we expect to see more of a reliance on sauces to quickly add a pop of flavour to meals.

“The new Buffalo sauce lends itself perfectly to operators interested in ‘Glocal’ products; globally inspired flavours, produced locally. Since we make our authentic sauces here in the UK, we’re better positioned to handle supply chain issues, making sure pubs and restaurants have enough stock to meet demand.”
