The post-pizza treat has been launched at the vegan-only Pizza Express in Aldwych in time for the Brit Awards. It will be rolled out in over 360 pizzerias nationwide from next month.
The current menu features its biggest ever range of plant-based dishes including the American Jack – smoky jackfruit 'pepperoni' and tomato with its signature vegan mozzarella alternative and the Vegan Ad Astra' – topped with Quorn, sweet red peppers, Cajun spice, red onion, tomato, garlic oil and vegan mozzarella alternative.
Jane Treasure, food and beverage director at PizzaExpress, commented: “We are constantly innovating and updating our dishes and are always looking to add more vegan-friendly options to our menus, so we’re delighted to be launching our new music-inspired watermelon sorbet ahead of the Brit Awards.
