Abstract
Foodservice supplier The Real Soup Co. has launched a limited-edition variant in time for Christmas, turkey and cranberry.

Made from wintery vegetables, cranberries, cinnamon and a bunch of herbs (parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme), it can be heated and served in just minutes.

Hoping to ‘inspire’ chefs and ‘take the stress out of festive menu planning,’ the Real Soup Co. claims this brand new flavour makes for an ‘ideal Christmas starter.’

Business development manager David Colwell said: “Christmas is an extremely busy time for kitchens with added pressure of consumers looking for that perfect meal to share with friends and family.

“We’re confident that our new turkey and cranberry soup will be a highly popular starter, offering consumers a delicious and heart-warming alternative to their turkey mains.

“With the increased footfall, kitchens will be up against it to serve consumers the quality dishes they expect.

“The Real Soup Co.’s soups offer caterers a zero-preparation, simple to heat and serve solution of restaurant quality. What’s more, our research shows that 70% of consumers will pay more for a soup that has been freshly made, helping outlets to profit further this festive season.”
