Abstract
Sustainably designed from recycled ceramic the tableware is intended to help caterers play their part in conserving the plant’s natural resources.

It is the first of Revol’s collection that will be stocked in the UK; the tableware specialist created the six pieces set for ‘eco-minded’ hospitality operations.

The set that comes in three finishes, matt non-glazed, arctic white and indigo blue, are created using mineral matter from waste clay and enamels which sees around 80 tonnes of waste water go back into the production process.

Ross Gibson, Revol UK and Ireland representative, said: “Consumers are thinking more and more about their impact on the environment and when it comes to eating out, this now goes much further than the extent of a restaurant’s food waste or single-use plastic.

“According to the latest research, over 90% of adults say large restaurant chains and caterers have a responsibility to do all they can to help our environment and they want to see sustainable practices and products across the board, right sown to the plates they are eating from.”
