The brand is growing three times faster than the market and is experiencing double digit growth in all UK regions. Vimto is growing across both the Carbonates and Dilutes categories (a 22.4% YOY increase in Carbonates and a 23.8% YOY increase in Dilutes). Vimto brand penetration has increased to 18.3% and shopper numbers are growing at 21% YOY. Cherry Vimto has added £3.6m to the Vimto brand since its launch at the beginning of 2010 and has attracted new consumers to the brand. Growth from Cherry has been largely incremental with almost no cannibilisation of the parent brand and 53% of its sales has led to incremental growth in the category. In January 2011 Vimto launched a new-look 500ml Still Vimto bottle to attract teens 'on the go'. The 500ml bottle introduced a bold new evolutionary pack design that will feature across the entire Vimto range. The design shows a cleaner, more modern and dynamic V-shaped Splash increasing the message that Vimto is refreshing and has fruit content. Other product news: Sunkist is growing 31 times faster than the market in Impulse. Sunkist is growing at ten times the rate of rival Tango, and specifically the Sunkist Orange can is growing eleven times faster than the Tango Orange can. London is now Sunkist's biggest region is terms of sales, closely followed by Central. Sunkist is investing in an above the line consumer campaign in 2011 to drive excitement and sales in the run up to and during the summer. Neil Gibson, head of marketing for Vimto Soft Drinks, commented: "2010 was a great year for Vimto Soft Drinks with incredible growth for Vimto, Cherry Vimto and Sunkist. 2011 is set to be another exciting year with lots of exciting plans for each brand. "We have increased our marketing spend across the board and will be looking at developing the brands with new flavours and formats being launched throughout the year."
