Prior to joining Accent, Yorston worked as head of operations for Artizian Catering Services Limited. Before that, he had held senior operational roles with Olive Catering Services Limited, the CH&Co Group and Elior.
Now responsible for Accent’s independent and state school contracts and growing B&I portfolio in the Midlands and North, Yorston oversees 22 contracts across the region, with two operations managers, two support managers and two relief chefs currently reporting to him.
He said: “ As a medium-sized independent player, we have the advantage of being able to invest in the operational infrastructure so that clients feel supported and valued. This is a massive advantage. The quality of our food and our focus on people are also all part of the Accent story, and one which continues to attract and retain clients.
