Abstract
Amar Lodhia, entrepreneur and founder of UK meal delivery service Fit Kitchen, has set up a temporary restaurant delivery service in East London to raise money for the homeless to stay safe and clean.

Lodhia has partnered with XIX Nineteen, a Stratford City based restaurant, for six months to provide a delivery and takeaway service.

The Government's lockdown means the restaurant XIX remains shut but the 'five star' kitchen is still available to use. The kitchen will operate from 12pm to 10pm Monday to Saturday and all the proceeds will be given to a East London charity The Whitechapel Mission.

Lodhia said: “Despite the Government’s bureaucracy failing small businesses and workers, Fit Kitchen and I will do as much as we possibly can. For a start we will give all the proceeds made from this hub to The Whitechapel Mission."

The Whitechapel Mission supports the homeless by providing them with hygiene sanitary and personal care facilities.

Fit Kitchen's Stratford City operation will be co-run by head chef Tobi Kuttig, who added: “In these difficult times we all have to adjust to the reality of the situation we are in.

"We all share a common situation and we are all being challenged to adapt to a new lifestyle, which now sees more of us not only working from home but also working out at home."
